Who’s It For?

Just about anyone who knows a good value when they see one will love the 2025 Kia Seltos. Not only does the attractive MSRP avoid some of the sticker shock that comes with costlier competitors, but you’ll find a plethora of standard features lacking in many others. You’ll also enjoy a quieter ride thanks in large part to the Seltos’ new sound-absorbing windshield glass, a premium touch you wouldn’t expect in such a vehicle. The Seltos also boasts best-in-class AWD interior room and ample legroom for rear passengers. The X-Line’s go-anywhere styling is highlighted by a bevy of gloss black exterior accents, all the way down to its gloss black 18-inch wheels.

What’s New for 2025?

The Seltos was redesigned last year, but gets some minor changes for 2025. Lower trim levels now have the reverse parking distance warning. The EX AWD trim now features a smart power liftgate and cargo cover. The base model gains 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels for a sportier appearance.

Real World Performance

The 2025 Kia Seltos comes with a pair of efficient powertrain options, starting with the standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. With 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, you’ll have plenty of power for the everyday commute, all while achieving impressive fuel efficiency thanks to the Intelligent Variable Transmission. Those looking for a bolder driving experience will appreciate the available 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this dynamic combination puts out a potent 195 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.

Power flows to the front wheels on standard models, but you can also equip your Seltos with available all-wheel drive. Choose the rugged X-Line or the sporty SX trim and that AWD feature comes with torque vectoring and a center lock feature, allowing for a clean 50/50 power split between the front and rear wheels at the push of a button.
